| hi everyone. this is matthew. i am the one who destroyed verae for the time being to go to college in a far away state. however, we are in the middle of planning a tour....sort of. im not sure that any of us are commited to the idea of 'making it!' (whatever that may mean) but we are commited to the idea of rocking hard hopefully for the rest of our lives. so, i think we will embark again on the road for fun (not for hopes of being signed to COLUMBIA RECORDS) and i just wanted to let everyone know this for a few reasons. 1st. the last tour would have absolutely never happened if it werent for the love, generosity, support, and love of everyone we encountered during planning it and carrying it out. thanks to everyone who's come to our shows, given us your love and monetary support. thank you to those who helped us book the tour. thanks to the clubs and the bands and to the people whose homes we stayed in. WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU. now, for this summer i realized that i will need to call on those willing to help again. if all works out we will be going with God to be instruments for him to stir the nation with. SO TO ALL YOU BOOKERS, CLUB OWNERS, PROMOTERS, AND BANDS........TO ALL YOU FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND ANY WITH AN EMPTY FLOOR: we are coming, and we humbly request your services. let's come together as a community with a purpose. again, you are all everything to us - you are all verae and if you will, we'd love for you to be with us.
-i will be back in texas so soon. verae wont die because of distance. thank you all so much.

the recording (which took place over the course of three days, and roughly twenty one hours of recording time in "the bat cave") is completed. it is currently being mixed/mastered/marauded by the masterful mind of colin (one of our guitarists). the cd, which consists of eight tracks, will be finished with in the not too distant future. once it is finished, rest assured it will reach your hands in one way or another for free. we are well aware of the fact that alot of people have to charge money for their cd's because its how they get food money, or survival money, or drug money, but we dont need money for any of those reasons, and are more or less just very flattered than anyone would enjoy our songs in the first place, so we see it as pointless to charge you money for something that we both enjoy. just consider this a friendly gift. at the appropriate time, we will do one of the following (possibly both) allow you to email us your adress and the cd will be mailed free of charge to you, or we will post it all for free on the internet as a direct download.
